Day 3Coach tour begins: Kusadasi / Ephesus / Pamukkale (approx. 210 Km)Disembark in Kusadasi and begin your Turkey Coach Tour. Depart for the ancient city of Ephesus and visit the magnificent Temple of Hadrian, the library of Celsus, and the theatres and hot baths. Lunch and continue to Pamukkale, "Cotton Castle" in Turkish, a unique natural site where the hot waters have left their limestone deposits. Then visit the nearby ruins of Hierapolis, founded in 190 B.C. and home to incredibly well-preserved Roman baths and the temple of Apollo. Dinner and overnight in Pamukkale. |
Day 4Pamukkale / Konya / Cappadocia (approx. 600 Km)Breakfast and travel to Konya: visit the Museum of Meviana, the famous mystic and poet who founded the Order of the Whirling Dervishes. After lunch, depart for Cappadocia. Along the way visit the 13th century Caravenseral inn. Check-in at the hotel and dinner. Overnight in Cappadocia. |
Day 5Cappadocia (approx. 50 km)Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day exploring this unique area with its lunar landscapes. Visit the Valley of Goreme and its cave churches: Church of St. Barbara, the Snake Church, the Church with Sandals and the Church of the Buckle. Then cross the Valley of Avcilar, to the natural rock citadel of Uchisar and the Valley of Pigeons. Visit the underground city of Saratil, refuge of the early Christians. Overnight in Cappadocia |
Day 6Cappadocia / Ankara (approx. 315 Km)Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Ankara. Visit the Anatolian Civilization Museum with is magnificent Hittite and Phrygian art collections. Lunch during the visit. Dinner and overnight in Ankara. |
Day 7Ankara / Istanbul (approx. 430 Km)Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Istambul. Upon arrival, lunch followed by a cruise on the Bosphorus. Later in the day, shopping at the Grand Bazaar, one of the world's oldest covered markets. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Istanbul. |

In the morning, visit the main monuments: the Byzantine Hippodrome, St. Sophia's Basilica, which marks the zenith of the Justinian empire, the Blue Mosque, renowned for its six minarets and 21,043 magnificent Iznik tiles in varying shades of blue. Visit the Topkapi Palace, primary palace of the sultans, and its porcelain collection, Baghdad Kiosque, relics and famed treasure. Lunch during the visit. Dinner at the hotel.
