DAY 1: Arrive Athens / Piraeus / Mykonos
Upon arrival in Athens, transfer to the port of Piraeus and begin your cruise. Arrive in Mykonos in the early evening, the most popular of the Greek Islands. (L, D)
DAY 2: Kusadasi / Ephesus / Pergamum / Assos
Disembark in Kusadasi and begin your Turkey Coach Tour. You’re first stop will be the House of the Virgin Mary, a place of pilgrimage located in a remote setting in the heights of Ephesus. Continue on to Ephesus and travel back in time as you stroll past the Roman villas, the Agora, the Odeon, the Nympheaum of Trajan, the Temple of Hadrian, the Celsius Library and the Theatre. En route to Assos, visit and tour the ancient city of Pergamum with visits to the Acropolis, the ruins of the Agora, temples, palaces, the impressive theatre and the Asclepion. Overnight in Assos. DAY 3: Assos / Troy / Istanbul
Start the day with a visit to the Temple of Athena in Assos, then explore the ancient city of Troy. The city has existed for over 3,400 years and has been destroyed and rebuilt more than nine times. Overnight in Istanbul. (B, L, D)
DAY 4: Istanbul
A full day tour to explore Istanbul, a fascinating city that bridges Europe and CAPPADOCIA KUSADASI Asia. Visit the Blue Mosque, renowned for its six minarets and 21,043 beautiful Iznik tiles in various shades of blue. Next, discover the Hippodrome, once the ancient center of political, cultural and sport activities. You will also see the magnificent Hagia Sophia, originally the larges church in the Christian world, converted into a mosque in 1453 by Mehmet II, and renovated under Atatürk. Visit the Topkapi Palace and St. Sophie’s Basilica, a marker of the reign of the Byzantinian emperor Justinian. Overnight in Istanbul. (B, L, D)
DAY 5: Istanbul / Ankara
After breakfast, enjoy free time to wander through the labyrinth tunnels of one of the oldest covered marketplaces in the world: the Grand Bazaar. Then, partake in a Bosphorus cruise. Overnight in Ankara. (B, L, D)
DAY 6: Ankara / Cappadocia
In the morning, visit the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations housed in the beautifully restored 15th-century"bedesten" (covered bazaar). Overnight at Cappadocia. (B, L, D)
DAY 7: Cappadocia
A full day tour to explore the rugged beauty of this fantastic region. Visit the Red Valley enroute to the Göreme Valley. Goreme's churches were carved from stone during the 7th to 13th centuries and include: the Church of St. Barbara, the Church of the Serpent, the Church of the Sandal, the Church of the Apple and the Church of the Buckle. You will also visit Zelve and Pasabag Valleys with their cave-dwellings and fairy chimneys, Uchisar, Monk’s Valley, Pigeons’ Valley and the underground city. Overnight in Cappadocia. (B, L, D)
DAY 8: Cappadocia / Ankara / Izmir / Kusadasi
In the morning, you’ll head back to Ankara and visit Anitkabir, the Mausoleum of Atatürk - the father of modern Turkey. After lunch you will transfer by air to Izmir, then continue on to Kusadasi. Overnight in Kusadasi. (B, L, D)
DAY 9: Kusadasi / Patmos
Transfer to the cruiseship before noon and resume your cruise. Spend the evening in divine Patmos, home of St. John the Theologian. (B, L, D)
DAY 10: Rhodes
The entire day is yours to discover Rhodes. Arrive in Madraki Harbour – the gateway to the largest medieval town in Europe and one of the highlights in Rhodes! Another must see in Rhodes is the impressive village of Lindos with its white cube-shaped houses and pebble covered streets. (B, L, D)
DAY 11: Crete / Santorini
You will have the morning to explore the wonders of Crete, the mother of the Minoan civilization. Worth seeing are the ruins of the ancient cities of Knossos, Phaistos and Mallia which demonstrate the incredible wealth and sophistication enjoyed by the Minoan civilization – the rulers of Crete from 2800 to 1150 B.C.E. In the afternoon, you will cruise to Santorini and be dazzled by the sight of whitewashed buildings that sit perched on the rim of black volcanic cliffs terraced with ribbons of every hue. (B, L, D)
DAYS 12-14: Athens (Piraeus)
Following disembarkation, transfer to your hotel for 3 days of leisure in Athens. (B)

Hotel rooms in Europe are generally smaller than in North American hotels. Please keep in mind that rooms with 2 double beds are quite rare. All hotels provide towels; some do not offer face cloths. In most European countries the current is 220V.
