DAY 1: Arrive Athens / Rhodes
Upon arrival in Athens, you will then transfer by air to Rhodes. Overnight in Rhodes.
DAYS 2 -3 - 4: Rhodes
You will have the next couple of days to explore the magical island of Rhodes. Explore the Medieval Town of Rhodes, relax in the beach areas of Faliraki and Ixia or take advantage of the rich and varied nightlife Rhodes offers. Overnight in Rhodes. (B)
DAY 5: Rhodes / Marmaris / Pamukkale
This morning you will transfer by ferry to the Marmaris Harbour, where you will join your guide and begin your Turkey Coach Tour. Visit Pamukkale, a unique natural site of limestone deposits and petrified waterfalls in the midst of a dry and barren landscape. Continue on to visit Hierapolis, the ancient Roman health spa. Overnight in Pamukkale. (B, L, D)
DAY 6: Pamukkale / Aphrodisias / Antalya
Depart this morning for Aphrodisias, the ancient city dedicated to Aphrodite and known as a centre for arts and culture in the ancient world. Visit the 30,000 seat stadium, the Temple of Aphrodite, the Tetrapylon, the Theatre and the Museum. Later in the afternoon, drive through the Taurus Mountains to Antalya. Overnight in Antalya. DAY 7: Antalya / Perge / Aspendos / Antalya
After breakfast, explore the mosaic sidewalk and colonnaded streets of Perge before continuing on to Aspendos, the best preserved Roman theatre in Asia Minor, renowned for incredible acoustics. After lunch, drive back to Antalya and stroll the narrow streets of Kaleici, a picturesque town of old wooden houses overlooking the marina. Discover Hadrian's Gate, the Fluted Minaret, the Truncated Minaret, and Hidirlik Tower. Overnight in Antalya (B, L, D)
DAY 8: Antalya / Konya
Depart for Konya, the capital of the Seljuk Sultanate of Rum from the 11th to the 13th centuries. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Mevlâna, the famous Sufi mystic and poet. Overnight in Konya. (B, L, D)
DAY 9: Konya / Cappadocia
After breakfast, depart for Cappadocia, stopping enroute at the Sultanhan Caravanserai built in the 13th century. Following lunch, explore cave-dwellings and fairy chimneys while passing through the Zelve, Pasabag, and Monk’s Valleys, as well as the underground city of Oznak. Overnight in Cappadocia. (B, L, D)
DAY 10: Cappadocia
Today, you will have a full day tour to explore the rugged beauty of this fantastic region. Visit the Red Valley enroute to the Göreme Valley. Goreme's churches were carved from stone during the 7th to 13th centuries and include: the Church of St. Barbara, the Church of the Serpent, the Church of the Sandal, the Church of the Apple and the Church of the Buckle. You will also see the rock formation of Uchisar and Pigeons’ Valley. Overnight in Cappadocia. (B, L, D)
DAY 11: Cappadocia / Ankara
Depart for Ankara this morning. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations housed in the beautifully restored covered bazaar. Continue to the Mausoleum of Atatürk, the father of modern Turkey. Overnight in Ankara. (B, L, D)
DAY 12: Ankara / Istanbul
This morning you’ll depart for Istanbul. Later in the afternoon, take part in a Bosphorus cruise followed by free time to wander through the Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest covered marketplaces in the world. Overnight in Istanbul. (B, L, D)
DAY 13: Istanbul
A full day tour to explore Istanbul, a fascinating city that bridges Europe and Asia which. Visit the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and the magnificent Hagia Sophia, originally the largest church in the christian world, wich was then converted into a mosque in 1453 by Mehmet II. Explore Topkapi Palace, and St. Sophie's Basilica, marker of the reign of the Byzantinian emperor Justinian. Overnight in Istanbul. (B, L, D)
DAY 14: Istanbul / Athens
After breakfast, transfert by air to Athens, then to your hotel. Overnight in Athens. (B)
