Submitting a Claim:
We are pleased to introduce our Price Drop Assurance program (“PDA”). The PDA is governed by the terms and conditions set out below as well as the redtag.ca Terms and Conditions on the redtag.ca website and set out in your booking invoice. Any capitalized terms not defined below have the meanings provided in the redtag.ca Terms and Conditions.
"Customer" means an individual that has purchased a Qualifying Trip from redtag.ca.
"Billed Passenger" means the Customer identified in the Client Information section of the booking invoice. When applicable rebates will be paid and mailed to the Billed Passenger at the address specified in the Client Information section of the booking invoice.
"Qualifying Trip": means one of the products listed in Schedule "A", purchased for an adult from redtag.ca (and paid in full at the time of booking) during the offer period and for the departure dates specified in Schedule "A"
How the Price Drop Assurance Program Works:
Price Drop Assurance allows our customers the ability to recover some of their travel costs by permitting the Billed Customer(s) a onetime price adjustment of up to $300 per qualifying adult traveller on a Qualifying Trip. The amount of the PDA payment will be determined by calculating the difference between the Invoice total cost and the New total cost less a $50 administration fee per adult. If the vacation package total price (including tax) advertised on the redtag.ca website for the same Qualifying Trip is in excess of $50 (or more) less than the amount paid by the Billed Customer(s) (a "Discounted Trip"), redtag.ca will refund the difference to the Billed Customer (less the administration fee), to a maximum of $300 per qualifying adult fare involved in the original Qualifying Trip booking. There will be a $50 administration fee linked to each approved PDA adult fare claimed. The maximum amount that can be claimed is $300 less the administration fee.
Claims for PDA adjustments less than $50 will not qualify. Claims must be submitted to redtag.ca for consideration no less than 3 days prior to travel departure date. Claims received 2 days or less prior to the Customer's departure date do not qualify. One rebate cheque (covering the differences of all possible adult fare(s), less the administration fee) will be issued to the Billed Passenger upon verification of the claim. Only applies to qualifying vacations shown with the accompanying Price Drop Logo listed on the Redtag.ca website. Limit one Price Drop Assurance claim per booking.
