Transat Holidays launched its Sun Destinations brochure
Transat Holidays has recently launched its Sun 2007-2008 brochure with even more packages and luxury properties than ever before.
The 222-page publication features a selection of 164 hotels, including 36 new properties and 50 exclusive hotels selected for their value and quality. In total, 99 properties in the brochure boast a 4 1/2 star rating or higher, representing 61% of the total range of products.
“We haven’t added any new destinations this year, but we have added more value and a more diverse selection of packages at some of our most popular destinations,” said Denise Heffron, vice president of commercial and national accounts. “We’ve made agreements with over 300 hotels in sun destinations and over 600 hotels in Europe. Our mandate was to be number one in all major markets across Canada, and I’m very pleased to announce that we’re leading in Western and Atlantic Canada, as well as Quebec and Ontario.”
In Mexico, the company welcomes its newest exclusive Transat Treasure, the four star H10 Punta Turquesa. Set to open in December, this elegant hotel is located on the white sandy beach of Playa Morelos. Also opening in December is the five star Regency Club at Grand Riviera Princess All Suites Resort & Spa. As part of the Transat Distinction line, the resort offers Transat clients free Internet access at the Regency Club House, 24-hour room service, an exclusive section close to the beach and much more.
For some sun and fun in the Dominican Republic, Transat has added the five star Gran Bahia Principe Ambar Don Pablo Collection, which is slated to open in November. Also new is the four star Regency Club at Punta Cana Princess All Suite Resort & Spa and the four star Le Mirage at EdeNH Real Arena, both of which have been added to the Transat Distinction line.
As always, Cuba provides sun seekers from around the world with a tropical retreat from everyday life. Travellers heading to Cayo Coco can relax at the four star NH Krystal Laguna Villas & Resort, a newly-selected Transat Treasure. The property features the Suite Emperador section (exclusive to Transat guests), which includes unlimited à la carte dining, a private pool, a reserved section on the beach, in-room bathrobes, VIP room and more.
Travellers who prefer fun on the water can have their choice of a wide array of cruises in Transat’s new 2007- 2009 cruise brochure. The 106-page brochure features sailings in collaboration with 12 of the most renowned cruise lines in the world: Azamara Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruises, Costa Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line and NCL America, Royal Caribbean International and Star Clippers. Joining Transat’s roster this year are MSC Cruises, Golen Star Cruises, Louis Cruises and Monarch Classic Cruises. This fall,Norwegian Cruise Line will launch its newest ship, the Norwegian Gem, which can accommodate over 2,300 passengers. The ship will offer two seven-night itineraries: the first sets sail from NewYork City to the Bahamas and Florida, and the second departs from Barcelona to the western Mediterranean.
