| The first stop is on the 'bonnie, bonnie banks' of Loch Lomond, Britain's largest expanse of water, with time for a boat trip or perhaps a ramble along the shore.
After lunch in Aberfoyle, drive over the Trossachs With its Lochs, glens and heather-clad mountains, it is no surprise that this area is known as 'Scotland In Miniature'. This area was made famous by Sir Walter Scott's Rob Roy and Queen Victoria's Highland Journals in which she wrote "This solitude, the romance and wild loveliness of everything here in the Trossachs make beloved Scotland the proudest, finest country in the world".
