Effective April 13, 2021, Air Canada Vacations has begun accepting and processing refund requests from eligible customers whose vacations were cancelled as a result of COVID-19.

Refunds will be awarded based on the following conditions:

  • Bookings were made before April 13, 2021 for scheduled travel on or after February 1, 2020
  • And vacation was cancelled as a result of COVID-19

Request for Refund

Online forms will be submitted on your behalf. If your travel was booked before April 13, 2021 for scheduled travel on or after February 1, 2020, please fill in the form below to submit your request for a refund by May 29 , 2021. Please ensure to enter the correct booking number into the form. Air Canada Vacations booking numbers must be at least 8 digits long and begin with a 2 or 3, with no letters or special characters. Please note that regular terms and conditions will apply to any refund requests made after June 12, 2021 at 11:59pm EST.

How do I request a refund?

To request a refund for a vacation package booked by April 13, 2021 for scheduled travel on or after February 1, 2020, please complete the online form found here

How will I receive my refund?

All refunds will be applied to your original form of payment

Will I be notified when my refund is processed?

Once your refund has been automatically applied you will receive an invoice reflecting this change. Please note that requests will be processed in the order in which they are being sent and the is in chronological order starting in February 2020.

I rebooked using my future travel credit, am I entitled to a refund?

If you rebooked using your future travel credit, you are eligible for a refund. To request a refund, please complete the online form

I rebooked using part of my future travel credit and have a residual value, will I get a refund?

Yes, you may receive a refund for the residual value of the future travel credit. Please complete the online form

I purchased and paid for Care Flex or CareFlexPlus and used the program to cancel my vacation am I entitled to a refund?

Yes, you are entitled to a refund. Please contact us.

My future travel credit was transferred to another person, are they entitled to a refund?

Future travel credits can only be refunded to the original form of payment. For this reason, future travel credits that were transferred to another individual will not be refunded.

I am holding a future travel credit due to a cancelled group booking, am I eligible for a refund?

Yes, a future travel credit for a Group booking vacation is also eligible for a refund. Please complete the online form

I am holding a future travel credit due to a cancelled cruise booking, am I entitled to a refund?

Certain cruise lines were offering customers the option to keep their cruise travel credit or opt for a refund of the cruise-only portion of their vacation. Due to this, refund will only be entitled to a refund for the air portion of their cruise vacation. The Future Cruise Credit remains, as per the cruise line Terms and Conditions. Contact us for more detail if holding a cruise booking.

I used my AIR MILES Reward Miles as part of payment. Will my AIR MILES be refunded?

Yes, AIR MILES Reward Miles will be refunded.

I originally paid with a Visa Gift Card, how will I receive my refund?
