About this resort

The Meliá Cayo Santa María by Santa Clara, Cuba is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort integrated into the natural environment of Cayo Santa Maria, the largest of the three keys which are linked by a stone embankment beginning in the city of Caibarian.  It lies to the northeast of the province of Villa Clara, in the Caribbean archipelago of Jardines del Rey. This new low-rise resort sits beachfront on a dazzling intimate island called Santa Maria.  Accommodation is in villa-style buildings surrounded by lush gardens or adjacent to the beach.  Extensive activities will please even the most energetic vacationer, while those who prefer their holidays "siesta style" can laze the days away by the pool or on the beach.

The Meliá Cayo Santa María Resort is set in 12 hectares of grounds, alongside almost 400 metres of white, sandy beach. It owes its name to Santa María, one of the small islands in the Jardines del Rey archipelago.  A spacious, white sandy beach, crystal-clear, turquoise waters, lush vegetation and abundant fauna have made it a Biosphere Reserve and one of the most exotic locations in the Caribbean.
