    DAY 2, MARCH 30 OSAKA

    Kansai Airport – Osaka Hotel: 45 km – approx. 1h
    You will arrive at Kansai International Airport at around 4:25 pm. You will be met by an assistant at the airport. Group transfer to the hotel in Osaka. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and evening at leisure.

    DAY 3, MARCH 31 OSAKA

    Osaka – Nara: 32 km – approx. 35 min
    Departure at 9:00 am for Nara. Discover Nara Park, home to over 1,200 free roaming deers, and visit Todai ji Temple, a jewel of Japan’s former capital. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the traditional district and enjoy a sake tasting at a local brewery. Continue the day with a visit to Kasuga Taisha Shrine. End the day with a welcome dinner to get to know your fellow travelers. Return to the hotel around 7:30 pm.

    DAY 4, APRIL 1 OSAKA AT LEISURE

    You will have a free day to explore the city at your leisure. There will be no guide or coach available. Dinner and evening at leisure.

    DAY 5, APRIL 2 OSAKA - KOYASAN

    Osaka – Koyasan: 100 km – approx. 3h
    Prepare an overnight bag before 7:30 am, as your luggage will be sent directly to Hiroshima. After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart around 8:30 am to begin a new day of sightseeing. Enjoy a peaceful walk through Okunoin Cemetery in Koyasan. Lunch will be taken at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will visit Kongobuji Temple, followed by the Konpon Daito Pagoda and Kondo Hall. You will arrive at your shukubo in Koyasan around 5:00 pm and have dinner there. Enjoy this traditional Japanese temple stay, an experience not to be missed.

    DAY 6, APRIL 3 KOYASAN - HIROSHIMA

    Koyasan – Osaka: 85 km – approx. 1h45
    Train journey Osaka – Hiroshima: 210 km - 1h25
    Breakfast at the shukubo. Around 9:00 a.m., departure by coach to Osaka. You will have lunch in a local restaurant, then depart at 1:17 p.m. by express train (Shinkansen) bound for Hiroshima. In the mid-afternoon, immerse yourself in history with visits to the Atomic Bomb Dome, the Peace Memorial Park, and the Peace Memorial Museum. Arrival at the hotel around 5:30 p.m. You will retrieve your main luggage at your Hiroshima hotel, which was sent ahead from Osaka. Check-in to your room. Dinner and evening at leisure.

    DAY 7, APRIL 4 HIROSHIMA

    Around 9:00 am, departure from the hotel for a day of discovery on Miyajima Island. You will travel by train and ferry to admire the famous Itsukushima Shrine and its floating torii gate. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, followed by free time to stroll along Omotesando Street. Afterwards, take the ropeway and enjoy panoramic views from the summit of Mount Misen. Return to Hiroshima by ferry. You will be back at your hotel around 4:30 pm. Dinner and evening at leisure.

    DAY 8, APRIL 5 HIROSHIMA - KYOTO

    Hiroshima – Himeji: 240 km – approx. 55 min.
    Himeji – Kyoto: 130 km – approx. 1h50
    Prepare an overnight bag before 7:30 am, as your luggage will be sent directly to Kyoto. Breakfast at the hotel, followed by departure for the train station at 8:00 am. You will travel by high-speed train (Shinkansen) to Himeji. Visit Himeji Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the castle visit, continue with a visit to Kokoen Garden, a traditional Japanese garden located nearby. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, travel by bus from Himeji to Kyoto. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and evening at leisure.

    DAY 9, APRIL 6 KYOTO

    Around 8:30 am, the day begins with the visual splendor of the Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji), followed by a visit to the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. After an authentic lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy free time to explore Nishiki Market at your own pace. In the afternoon, continue with a visit to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, famous for its wooden terrace offering panoramic views over the cherry trees and the city. Then, enjoy free time in the Gion district, where you may catch a glimpse of a geisha. End the day with a Maiko dinner show. Return to the hotel by local train with your guide around 8:45 pm. You will retrieve your main luggage at your hotel in Kyoto, which was previously forwarded from Hiroshima.

    DAY 10, APRIL 7 KYOTO AT LEISURE

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. You will have a free day to explore Kyoto at your leisure. There will be no guide or coach at your disposal.

    DAY 11, APRIL 8 KYOTO - MOUNT FUJI

    Kyoto – Mishima: 210 km - approx. 1h50
    Mishima – Kawaguchiko: 55 km – approx. 1h
    Prepare an overnight bag before 7:30 am, as your luggage will be sent directly to Tokyo. Breakfast at the hotel before departing around 9:20 am. You will travel by high-speed train (bullet train) to Mishima. You will arrive just before noon and enjoy a traditional Japanese lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the Hakone Venetian Glass Museum. You will arrive at your hotel in Kawaguchiko, in the Mount Fuji Five Lakes region, around 4:30 pm. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

    DAY 12, APRIL 9 MOUNT FUJI - TOKYO

    Kawaguchiko – Tokyo: 130 km – approx. 2h15
    After breakfast, depart around 8:00 am for the Mount Fuji area, in the Mount Fuji Five Lakes region. Visit Oshino Hakkai, a charming village offering beautiful views of Mount Fuji. Enjoy some free time along the shores of Lake Kawaguchi, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, take a 20 minute cruise on Lake Kawaguchi, then continue with a visit to Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba, an open-air museum located on the northern shore of Lake Saiko. This site is a faithful reconstruction of a traditional Japanese farming village, famous for its thatched-roof houses and spectacular views of Mount Fuji. Departure for Tokyo. Arrival at the hotel around 6:00 pm. You will retrieve your main luggage at your Tokyo hotel, which was previously forwarded from Kyoto. Check-in to your room. Dinner and evening at leisure.

    DAY 13, APRIL 10 TOKYO

    Around 9:00 am, the day begins with a visit to the Tokyo National Museum, located in Ueno Park. It is the oldest and largest museum in Japan, ideal for admiring treasures of Japanese art (samurai swords, prints, pottery). Then head to Shinjuku for a stroll through Omoide Yokocho (nicknamed “Piss Alley”). This narrow and picturesque lane immerses you in the atmosphere of post-war Tokyo with its tiny eateries. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, continue to Meiji Jingu Shrine. Located in the heart of a majestic forest in the middle of the city, this site offers a peaceful escape. In the late afternoon, experience a striking contrast at Shibuya Scramble Crossing. It is the ultimate urban experience: cross this iconic intersection amid the crowd as the neon lights begin to glow. After this day full of contrasts, return to the hotel. Dinner and evening at leisure.

    DAY 14, APRIL 11 TOKYO

    Your day begins around 9:00 a.m. in the Asakusa district, the historic heart of Tokyo. You will visit the famous Senso-ji Temple and stroll among the stalls along Nakamise Street. Then head to Yanaka Ginza, a charming retro neighborhood that miraculously survived the bombings of World War II and major earthquakes. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in the area. Afterwards, continue to Tokyo Skytree. With your included ticket, you will access the observation decks for a 360° view of the metropolis. At the end of the day, return to the Asakusa pier for your cruise on the Sumida River. The journey to Hinode Pier offers a unique perspective on the city’s skyscrapers and illuminated bridges at sunset. Return to the hotel. Dinner and evening at leisure.

    DAY 15, APRIL 12 DEPARTURE FROM TOKYO (NARITA AIRPORT)

    Tokyo – Narita Airport: 79 km – approx.1h
    Breakfast at the hotel, followed by free time until departure at 11:00 am. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant along the way. You will arrive at Narita International Airport around 2:00 pm. for your return flight to Vancouver.
